About Courtney

For as long as I can remember, a paintbrush has been a natural extension of my hand. What began as a childhood obsession with sketching everything in my path eventually evolved into a lifelong pursuit of beauty and perspective.

My creative journey has been anything but linear. I spent years trading my sketchbook for a passport, exploring 58 different countries and immersing myself in a kaleidoscope of vibrant cultures and histories. Those global experiences reshaped the way I see the world, teaching me that while landscapes change, the raw, resilient beauty of nature remains a universal language.

Today, those international perspectives have led me back to my roots and a dedicated practice as a visual artist. Now based in Koondrook, I spend my days in my studio translating the intricate details of the natural world into large-scale works. My practice is centered on the intersection of hyper-realism and emotional narrative—whether I am capturing the macro details of a botanical subject or the sweeping energy of a mythological series on a 1.2-meter canvas.

Following my recent showcase at CluBarham and preparing for upcoming exhibitions, I remain committed to the daily act of creation. My goal is to invite the viewer to slow down and find the same "vivid life" in the details of the environment that continues to inspire me every single day.
